Your Responsibilities

We at Skill are looking for a Commissioning Engineer for the workshop testing at Siemens Energy in Finspång! As a commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for leading and conducting commissioning and testing of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites. The role involves coordinating the testing group, ensuring that schedules are followed, and training employees. You will document the work meticulously through checklists and reports. The work encompasses the entire testing chain before delivery, including test runs, workshop tests, and testing of complete systems. You will be part of the team performing workshop testing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the commissioning of gas turbine packages.
• Coordinate the testing group. 
• Train employees.
• Documentation (checklists and reports). 
• Test runs and workshop testing of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment. 
• Testing of complete deliveries. 
• Active part of the workshop testing team.

Your Profile

To succeed in this position, you need to be a structured and driven problem solver with perseverance, good communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with others.

You also need: 

• Engineering education in operations, energy, electrical power, mechanical, or control engineering. 
• Several years of experience in management.
• Practical experience in commissioning or maintenance of rotating machinery, preferably turbines. 
• Computer skills and experience in administrative work. 
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. 
• Preferred: knowledge in control and regulation technology, e.g., Siemens Simatic.
